ST. MATTHEW’S CHOIR

PRESENTATION TO MRS BURTON. Members of the St. Matthew’s Choir met last night and made a presentation to Mrs Burton, a valued member of the choir who is leaving Masterton. Archdeacon E. J. Rich made the presentation, consisting of a crystal rose bowl and set of ash trays, and referred to the splendid service Mrs Burten had rendered in connection with the choir over a number of years. Her departure from Masterton would be a serious loss to St. Matthew’s Choir, the members of which wished her the best of health and prosperity in her newhome.

Supper was afterwards partaken of and much appreciated.
