A good strong tone was in evidence in all sections of the Feilding sale today, when prices were fully firm on recent quotations. Messrs Wright Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report:—A good yarding of sheep, cattle and pigs came forward at the Carterton sale yesterday. Prices were good throughout and a total clearance was effected. The following are some of the realisations: — Sheep: Fat wethers, 32s 6d, 335; light fat wethers, 245. 27s 9d; prime heavy hoggets, 29s 4d, 335; fat shorn wethers, 21s, 22s 6d; fat b.f. hoggets, 245, 23s 7d, 255, 27s Id; fat wether hoggets, 275; forward b.f. hoggets, 20s; fat ewes (woolly), 17s Id.
