RATIONING TO CONTINUE

The Secretary of the Interior, Mr Ickes, who is oil controller, told the Press today that rationing of gasoline and the service station curfew in the east would continue, despite the Senate Committee’s finding that there was no shortage of oil. Mr Ickes contended that reserves were diminishing and the demand increasing, and said that the removal of the restrictions would be stupid.
