ADMINISTRATION FORMED. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, September 18. The President of the new Syrian Republic, who has been appointed by the Free French commander in the Middle East (General Catroux), is . Sheik Mohamed Tageddine el Hassani. In an interview in Damascus today, President Hassani said that the Syrian Government will immediately exercise its sovereignty. The Cabinet will include Ministers of Foreign Affairs and National Defence. The Allies will acknowledge Syria's independence immediately, oven before the conclusion of the treaty. Hassan Bey Flak in has been appointed Prime Minister.
