High Caste, in great fettle, reeled off five furlongs in 1.4 on the Randwick track today. Veiled Threat, Lucrative, Evergreen, the Melbourne colt Lugano and Reading also worked impressively. The New Zealander Algerian, ridden by Wiggins, did a striding mile in 1.491. He looks well and forward and has been well supported for the big Randwick double.
