Shakhurin, Commissar for Aviation, and M. Jakovlev, Commissar for Artillery. ALLIED MISSIONS RECEPTION AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 17. The members of the British and American missions to Russia were received by the King at Buckingham Palace today. Lord Beaverbrook and Mr Averill Harriman, the respective leaders, presented the missions to His Majesty. Sir John Dill, Chief of the Imperial General Staff, was also received In an audience by the King at the Palace. RUSSIAN EXILES PAST FORGOTTEN IN FIGHT ' FOR FREEDOM. TORONTO, September 17. The premier ballerina, Tamara Toumanova, who is a daughter of the Russian Princess Eugenie Toumanova, interviewed by the Canadian Press Association, said: “There is no bitterness or hate among the Russian exiles. The fight is not for Stalin. It is a fight for Russia’s freedom, Russia’s soul. We are Russians, side by side with all Russians in Russia. The past is forgotten.”
