COURSING CLUB

MEETING OF COMMITTEE TIN HARE RACING. TO BE HELD ON MEMORIAL PARK. A meeting of the general committee of the Wairarapa Coursing Club was held last evening. It was decided that the tin hare races held by the club take place on the Memorial Park in future, while the ordinary coursing will still be conducted at the Plumpton at Akura. A working bee was formed to put the Memorial Park in order for future tin hare meetings. It was decided to consult with the custodian as to the lay-out of the grounds for such gatherings. It was resolved to suggest to the North Island Greyhound Association that it affiliate with the New South Wales Coursing Association. Messrs L. M. Archer and L. H. Jones were appointed to the committee.
