MR FRASER RETURNS
1 ARRIVAL IN AUCKLAND THIS AFTERNOON MEMBERS OF WELCOMING PARTY. CIVIC RECEPTION TONIGHT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. “All I can say is, I am glad that Mr Fraser is returning,” said Mr Nash, Acting Prime Minister, after his arrival by the Limited to meet the Prime Minister, who is returning by clipper at 2.30 p.m. “The present session has been strenuous, but everyone has been most courteous and kind. I thank them,” said Mr Nash. Included in Mr Nash’s party were Mrs Fraser, Mrs Berendsen, whose husband is accompanying Mr Fraser, Mrs Kemp, a daughter of Mrs Fraser, and Mrs Turner, wife of Mr B. Turner, Mr Langstone’s secretary. Other passengers to meet Mr Fraser include Wing Commander Bevan, representing the Governor-General, and Sir Harry Batterbee, representing the British Government. A civic reception will be tendered to Mr Fraser tonight. Mr Fraser and Mi’ Nash leave for Wellington by tomorrow night’s Limit-] ed.
