TRY THIS DINNER DISH
STEAMED APPLE AND RAISIN PUDDING. Mix together 2 level cups wheatmeal flour No. 1, | level teaspoon salt, level teaspoon soda, mixed with 1 dessertspoon milk. Melt 1 tablespoon good dripping, add 1 cup honey and ij cup milk, add this to flour mixture with 1 cup chopped raisins and 11 cups chopped apples. Mix well together and place in a buttered basin. Cover well and steam for 3 hours. Serve with a plain white sweet sauce.
