CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE
MEN SERVING SENTENCES IN INDIA. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, September 11. The Secretary for India stated in the House of Commons that on July 1 those serving sentences in connection with the civil disobedience movement in India amounted to 12,129, including 28 ex-ministers and 290 members of provincial legislatures.
