PRESENTATION IN FORTNIGHT COMPULSORY LOANS. DEDUCTIONS FROM WAGES AND SALARIES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 8.55 a.m.) BRISBANE. This Day. The Prime Minister, Mr A. W. Fadden, announced that the Federal Budget would be introduced in the Federal Parliament on September 25. It is understood that further deductions from wages and salaries in the form of compulsory loans, instead of taxes, will form a definite part of the Budget but these are unlikely to apply to incomes under £6 a week.
