Chelmsford Stakes: High Caste, Beau Vite, 9.11; Lucrative, 9.7; Laureate, 8.2; The Champion, Dick Whittington, Murmuring, 7.9; Galliard, 7.2. Spring Handicap: Dashing Cavalier, 9.2; Veiled Threat, 8.12; Pandect, 8.11; Binnia Hero, 8.8; Hope, 8.3; Gundagai, 7.12; Fearless, 7.8; Triggerman, 7.4; Red Tape, 7.0; Goose Bay, 6.12; Haridelle, 6.10; Bel Oiseau, 6.7. Munro rides Beau Vite in the Chelmsford Stakes. The best track trials today were credited to Lucrative, High Caste, Freckles, Beau Vite, Yaralla, Session, Reading, Pandect, and Overbold. Duvach did a sterling half-mile. She has apparently recovered from her recent injury sustained in a float. The Randwick track is in excellent order as the result of occasional showers.
