ROTARY CLUB

MR S. L. P. FREE REVIEWS GROWTH OF MOVEMENT. The Masterton Rotary Club held its first meeting of the new year under the presidency, of Mr Norman Lee at the Y.M.C.A. Rooms today, there being a good attendance of members. Mr Frank Budd, a member of the Hastings Rotary Club, was a guest. The speaker for the day was Mr S. L. P. Free, past vice-president of Rotary International. Mr Free gave an outline of the Rotary movement from its inception io the present day and made reference to the ideals which must guide the Rotary movement in a world which needed the constant help of every thinking man. On the motion of Mr J. H. Cunningham the’speaker was accorded a hearty of thanks for his interesting and helpful address.
