KITCHEN AIDS WANTED

IN EVENT OF EMERGENCY. Speaking at Tuesday’s meeting of the Musterton Townswomen's Guild (a report of which appeared in yesterday's issue). Mrs D. K. McKenzie stated that there was an urgent need in Masterton for women to undergo a period of forty hours training in the management of kitchens for serving a large number of meals. Mrs McKenzie said that an appeal had been made by the Department of Health for women in the district to volunteer to undertake training in the kitchen at the Masterton Hospital to provide trained personnel for an emergency hospital kitchen. Any women wishing to undertake such work may communicate with the secretary of the Red Cross Society on the Order of St. John.
