ARTILLERY ACTIONS
IN TOBRUK & FRONTIER AREA. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.0 a.m.) RUGBY, September 7. An official Cairo communique states: “At Tobruk there was intermittentenemy shellfire during most of the day. Our own artillery bombarded part of an enemy position, completely destroying three small posts. “In the frontier area, one of our patrols carried out a successful shoot against an enemy armoured car patrol.”
