In a brief, but appropriate speech, Mrs Jordan proposed the health of the guests of honour, which was responded to with enthusiasm. Mrs F- R- Garland, on behalf of the. Red Cross Society, also wished the nurses a safe trip and assured them of the full support of her organisation.
