MASTERTON ELECTORATE

GENERAL ROLL CLOSING ON MONDAY. The general roll for the Masterton Electorate will close on Monday at 4 p.m. This is not to be taken as an indication that a general election will be held this year. The onus rests upon all voters to register as electors. Registration is compulsory for all persons 21 years of age or over, who are British subjects by birth or by naturalisation, who have lived in New Zealand for at least one year and resided in the electorate for which enrolment is claimed for three months. All persons eligible to vote should ascertain if theii* names are on the roll, if they have not already done so There will probably be about 10.000 names on the general roll for the Masterton electorate.
