BRIGHTER TONE
AT MASTERTON STOCK SALE TODAY. SOME EARLY PRICES. . There was a considerably brighter tone in prices at the Masterton stock sale today, compared with last week’s sale. A large yarding of fat and store sheep met with a keen reception from a representative bench of buyers. Early quotations were: — Pigs: Weaners, 15s, 18s, 21s. Sheep: Fat ewes, 17s lOd, 18s, 19s; fat wethers, in the wool, 29s 4d, 30s; shorn wethers, 21s 6d.
