STOCK MARKET

■ > SALE AT FEOING fat wether prices increase. GOOD VALUES FOR STORE SHEEP. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) FEILDING, August 29. Prices for fat wethers advanced slightly at today’s Feilding sale on last week’s firm rates. There was a fairly heavy yarding. Fat ewes were easier because of lack of quality, and fat hoggets were not in keen demand but total clearance was effected. There was a smaller offering of store sheep, principally hoggets, which brought very good prices, wether hoggets specially finding a good market. There was also a good market for ewe hoggets showing condition. There was a large offering of dairy stock, but-it was not of high quality, and consequently there were no fancy prices. There was a good inquiry for fat cattle, prices firming up as quality was offering. Some pens of run cattle sold at fair prices. CARTERTON SALE KEEN COMPETITION.
