SCHOOL ACTIVITIES AGRICULTURAL COMPETITIONS. (“Times-Age” Special.) In the recently concluded Boys’ and Girls’ Agricultural Club competition, Nancy Cheetham gained second place and Charles Wilkin third place for schools in Group I. Both are pupils of Mauriceville School. In the whole competition, which embraces schools from Pahiatua to Martinborough, Nancy Cheetham came first in written records, and for her crop of mangels, gained third place, an excellent achievement for a young girl.
