BLACKPOOL DISASTER
COLLIDING PLANES DESTROYED NEARLY 30 PEOPLE INJURED IN STATION. MEMBERS OF BOTH CREWS KILLED. (By Telegraph —Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.5 a.m.) LONDON, August 27. Two planes collided over Blackpool this afternoon. One fell on the Central Station, where nearly thirty people were injured. The other fell in the town and seriously damaged a house. 'The crews of both planes weie killed. SIX KILLED v SIXTEEN ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL. (Received This Day, 1 p.m.) LONDON. August 27. Six persons were killed and sixteen admitted to hospital in the Blackpool plane crash.
