DEMAND FOR COMBINED ACTION AGAINST HITLERITE GERMANY. INCLUDING WESTERN OFFENSIVE. (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON. August 25. The Communist Parly in Britain has issued a statement expressing disappointment that Mr Churchill did not refer to the urgency of a combined Anglo-Soviet blow against Hitlerite Germany, at the moment at which Hitler has denuded forces in the west. The statement suggested that the Anglo-Soviet action against the Nazis in Iran must be followed by a co-ord-ination of the striking powei' of both, countries and a new productions drive in Britain, also the creation of a new
front in the West. WOMEN OF MOSCOW MESSAGE TO LONDON. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 24. Moscow newspapers, according to Press messages, gave a front-page display today to a message from the women of Moscow to the women of London. The message said: — "We are grateful for your sincere message. The women of Moscow will work in a self-sacrificing way in munitions plants, hospitals and other institutions, and in the field of art and culture. There is no 'force capable of breaking down the will of the Soviet women for victory. In these historic times, your determination has stirred us. We wish you success in your just war. We firmly believe in the close alliance of the democratic countries to destroy Fascism.”
SACRED HATRED CALL TO JEWS THROUGHOUT WORLD. 5 LONDON, August 24. Prominent Russian Jews at a meeting in Moscow passed a resolution urging Jewry throughout the world “to the sacred hatred which must bring death to Fascism, whose cannibal nature is revealed by its attitude to the whole of mankind which respects and cherishes the ideals of freedom and democracy.” M. Sergei Eisenstein, the noted Soviet theatrical and film director, said that the time had come to fight the “champions of a brute ideology. It is a matter- of triumph of humanity over barbarism.”
