SHARP ATTACK
MADE BY BRITISH BOMBERS ON DUSSELDORFF AMD OTHER OBJECTIVES IN GERMANY. IN SPITE OF BAD WEATHER. LONDON, August 25. R.A.F. activities were again restricted by bad weather, but a sharp attack was made at Dusseldorff and cn other objectives in Germany. A few German aircraft made a brief visit to the east coast of Britain. Bombs were dropped at three places, but with very little effect. THREE BOMBERS MISSING AND ONE COASTAL COMMAND AIRCRAFT. AIR MINISTRY REPORT. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) RUGBY, August 25. An Air Ministry communique states: “Operations by bombers were still restricted by bad weather last night, but communications and industrial objectives at Dusseldorf were sharply attacked. "Three R.A.F. bombers are missing from these operations. One coastal Command aircraft is missing from a patrol over the North Sea yesterday morning.’’ _____
