POST-WAR POLICY
ANOTHER INTER-ALLIED CONFERENCE
TO BE HELD IN LONDON SHORTLY. VALUE OF EIGHT-POINT DECLARATION. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 12.10 p.m.) RUGBY, August 21. An inter-Allied conference is to be held in London in the near future. !t can be assumed that the Churchill-Roosevelt eight - point declaration will engage the attention of the meeting of representatives of the Allied Governments. The first meeting of this kind was held in London on June 12. It will be recalled that the third paragraph of a resolution then adopted was not only consistent with the Churchill-Roose-velt declaration, but might almost , be considered as a summary of the points made. The steady development of Allied policy for the post-war period is regarded as a guarantee that all the Powers fighting Nazi Germany realise the importance of a world settlement, which will bring not only political, but also economic and industrial peace, through the co-operation of freedomloving peoples.
