SALVATION ARMY

VISIT OF COLONEL & MRS EBBS.

In connection with the visit of Colonel and Mrs Ebbs to the Masterton Salvation Army Corps, the DeputyMayor, Mr White, in the unavoidable absence of the Mayor, extended a welcome to Colonel and Mrs Ebbs. The Colonel’s address on “Sidelights of Service” was full of interesting facts concerning Salvation Army work.

Mrs Ebbs read a passage of scripture and the Corps Songster Brigade, under the direction of Major Dick, contributed a company song. Mr W. R. Nicol, in proposing a vote of thanks to Colonel and Mrs Ebbs, spoke in eulogistic terms of the work of the Salvation Army.
