GREYTOWN
HOME GUARD MUSKETRY INSTRUCTION. ("Times-Age” Special.) The Headquarters Company paraded at the Crown Theatre last evening and commenced their intensive musketry instruction. A Company officers and N.C.O.’s attended a course of instruction at the Fire Brigade Station. A visitor to. Grey town, Sergt.-Major T. Daly, who has just returned from Greece and Crete, gave an interesting lecture to the Home Guard on his experiences with one of the companies ci the New Zealand Division. Sergt.Major Daly was wounded when a convoy was attacked from the air. Golf.
The return match between Greytown and Rototawai will be played at the weekend on the Greytown links. The qualifying round for the championships will be played on Saturday. The draw will be the same as that published last week.
