INDOOR BASKETBALL

INTERHOUSE ASSOCIATION

CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETITIONS.

FINAL GAMES TONIGHT

The final games in the indoor basketball championships conducted by the Wairarapa Interhouse Association will be played tonight in the Y.M.C.A. gymnasium.

In the ladies’ A grade section the best game should be between Lancers and Woolworths. 'fhe teams in the ladies' B grade have reached a very interesting position. Tonight Codys will meet McKenzies, and Codys must win this game in order to make sure of winning the championship. State Kitchenette, who are two points behind Codys. will play Cathies. Rangers A has a lead of five points in the junior section and the results of the games tonight, cannot affect the position of this team in the championship. In the men's section the game between Vesta Batteries and State Kitchenette should be keenly watched. State Kitchenette must win this game to give them a one-point lead over W.F.C.A. and Bouzaids and thus win the championship.
