GREYTOWN
FOOTBALL CLUB ' ANNUAL BALL LAST NIGHT. (“Times-Age” Special.) Visitors were present from all parts of the district at the annual ball of the Greytown Football Club which was held in the Town Hall last evening and was a decided success. The hall was decorated with the club colours (red, yellow and black). On the centre of the stage a goal was erected, and suspended from the crossbar a large victory V sto'od out boldly. Udy's Orchestra supplied the music and Mr W. Stringfellow acted as M.C. . Extras were played by Mr S. Te Tau. The patron (Mr J. F. Thompson) congratulated the club on its good performance during the past season. Mr Thompson also congratulated those members who had gained representative honours. He then presented the club trophies as follows: —Rose bowl to Messrs Rex Brunton and T. Hood: Mr Vincent's trophy to L. Goodin. Personal Items. Mrs G. T. Gray, of Pukehou. Hawke’s Bay, is the guest of Mrs J. H. Bennett. Miss G. Bennett, of Hastings, is at present on a visit to her parents.
