DAIRY COMPANY PAST SEASON'S REPORT. (“Times-Age" Special.) The annual report of the Pirinoa Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., states: “The output of cheese for the season was 147 tons 541bs, being an increase on that of the previous year of 48 tons 18cwt, of which supply from new’ suppliers accounted for 41 tons 16 cwt. In respect of the previous year, the estimated average payout per pound for butterfat (all grades) which was quoted in the report was 17.397 d and the actual season average payout which was finally made was 17.396 d. In respect of the current year, cheese in store for export has been valued at the guaranteed price according to grades and cheese in stock at 7d per pound and the estimated season average payout per pound butterfat all grades which should result therefrom is 17.3503 d. The directors do not recommend the payment of any dividend on share capital. The retiring directors are Messrs D. L. Bell and J. McDonald, who are eligible for re-election. Mr L. H. Smart is eligible for reappointment to the position of auditor.” Green & Gold Ball. The committee of the Green and Gold Patriotic Ball is sparing no effort to make the function, which is to be held on September 3, the event of the season. The music will be supplied by Pool’s Blue River Dance Band and this alone should draw a great crowd. The funds are to be given to the Provincial Patriotic Fund. Mrs Thompson, of Dannevirke, who has in previous years superintended both the decorations and supper arrangements, will again carry out those duties. Personal. The funeral of the late Robert Hutana took place at Kohunui Cemetery on Tuesday. A large number of residents of the district, attended and the floral tributes were numerous and beautiful. The pall-bearers, who were all playmates of the deceased, were L. Watson (cousin), F. and J. Te Maari, H. Robinson, and M. and S. Te Whaiti. The church rites were administered by Elder Taurau, of the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints. Messrs G. Matthews and R. Palmer have returned to Wellington. Mr Richard Te Whaiti. who has been on a visit to Waipukurau, has returned home. Mr Guy J. Gillies is visiting the South Island. Mr Duncan Didsbury, who has been on a visit to Wellington, has returned home.
