U.S.A. & DOMINIONS PROVISION FOR CONCILIATION. IN SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) WASHINGTON. August 13. The supplementary Treaties of Conciliation and Advancement of Peace between the United States and Canada, New Zealand and Australia were ratified at a conference today which was attended by the United States Secretary of State, Mr Hull, the British Ambassador, Lord Halifax, the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Mr Duff Cooper, the Australian Minister to Washington, Mi’ Casey, and the Canadian Charge d’Affaires, Mr Hume-Wrong.

The treaties are designed to replace the one general pact with Britain Which was made in 1914 and which then included .the Dominions as subsideries. ■»

The new pacts provide for separate conciliation commissions for each Dominion in relation to the United States for settlement of disputes among the signatories.
