FEDERAL PREMIER
QUESTION OF GOING TO LONDON,
FREE HAND DEMANDED.
(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY, August 13.
If the Prime Minister, Mr Menzies, goes to London after the meeting of Parliament next week, he will do so only if no conditions are attached to his departure and if his mission is ap-' proved by a resolution of Parliament.
Cabinet met again today, when Ministers took the view that it was imperative for Australia to have direct representation on the British War Cabinet.
That is only possible if the Prime Minister goes to London because no other Minister can be assured of a place in that Cabinet. The Government believes in the light of recent events that Australia should have had that representation a month or six weeks ago.
