E.P.S. SCHEME

CO-ORDINATION OF WORK. A visit to Masterton was paid this morning by Mr A. J. Baker, a former Public Works Engineer, who is at present making a tour with a view to assisting in the co-ordination of E.P.S. work. Mr Baker conferred in Masterton with the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, the Tbwn Clerk, Mr G. T. O’Hara Smith, who is secretary of the E.P.S. organisation, and the borough engineer, Mr C. R. Mabson. Mr Baker, who is offering suggestions for the better working of the E.P.S. scheme and. is to report to the Director of National Seivice, returned to ’Wellington this afternoon.
