Marshal Goering is now at the German General Staff Headquarters with Hitler, but has been ordered not to leave there, says the "Mirror’s” Lisbon correspondent, who obtained this information from Berlin. Goering cannot move without ( a Gestapo bodyguard. The ruling is so strict tha.t he is in fact a prisoner in the German front lines. Hitler is reported to be obsessed by a fear that his chief advisers may follow Hess, but Goering, in addition, has fallen under suspicion because of serious squabbles within the German Air Ministry. The Moscow radio says the appointment of Marshal Kesselring as supreme chief of the German Air Force will soon be announced. He now commands the Luftwaffe on the Russian front.
