(Received This Day, 12.40 p.m.) LONDON, August 13. The Soviet spokesman, M. Lozovsky, estimated that 300,000 of Hitler’s Pretorian Guard “shared all the crimes of the Hitler gang. This does not mean that any other Germans are not guilty of active cooperation in Hitler’s worst outrages, but the extermination of the men who are the backbone of the Gestapo system and of Hitlerite fanaticism must be a preliminary to reasonable talks with the German people.” M. Lozovsky said that when a Gorman bomber crashed near Moscow, three member? of the crew, with characteristic German opportunism, pointed out the fourth member of the crew as a Black Guard, implying that they deserved less harsh treatment.
