The monthly meeting of the Greytown Volunteer Fire Brigade was held last evening.- Superintendent J. Wood presided. Six members of the Emergency Fire Service were enrolled, and the seer etary was instructed to apply to the Fire Controller for uniforms. Fireman A. Wood received a 2-year service bar, making in all fifteen years’ service. Mr H. L. Gray was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for his donation of a sufficient number of bricks to remodel the fireplace. Patriotic Committee. The secretary of the Grey town Citizens’ Patriotic Committee acknowledges with thanks the following further donations to the Soldiers’ Parcel Fund: —Mr Anker and family, Messrs H. Keltie, A. H. Bull, F. Best, C. Rogers, H. Burns, Mesdames Thomas, Senr., A. Gregor, L. Wood, Benseman, Best, the Presbyterian Guild, the Methodist Guild, and Anonymous.
