SECOND EAGLE SQUADRON. JUNKERS PLANE PROBABLY DESTROYED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 1 p.m.) RUGBY, August 11. The second All American Eagle Squadron which has been formed in the R.A.F. has already had its first encounter with the enemy. As a result, the squadron claims that a Junkers 88 probably was destroyed. Two pilots of the squadron were patrolling over an English port, with fighters equipped with both cannon and mach-ine-guns, when they saw the Junkers emerge from a thick cloud. They chased it and gave it a burst with machineguns. The enemy was last seen giving off volumes of black smoke and losing speed rapidly. The original Eagle Squadron has a score of se\en enemy machines shot down.
