SCHOOL ATTENDANCE REPORT FOR JULY. (“Times-Age” Special.) The headmaster of the Eketahuna School reported as follows to the monthly meeting of the School Committee: —The primary roll numbers 154 and the secondary 46. There is a likelihood of a drop in the school’s grade unless more children come forward next term. The term holidays will commence on August 22, and last until September 6. Special Arbor Day lessons were held. Form 1 and 2 boys planted 100 seedlings of matipo and 100 cuttings native trees in the forestry section of the garden. It' is intended to plant several flowering shrubs at. a later date.
