RUNEDIN SALE A STRONG DEMAND. IMPROVEMENT IN PRICES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, August 8. At today’s sale of rabbit skins a catalogue of approximately 84 tons was offered. There was strong demand and keen competition was forthcoming for all grades and descriptions. Exporters operated freely on all catalogues and brokers made good clearances. Furriers were also in the market and purchased some nice parcels of does. As compared with. rates ruling on July 15, values on the average were par to 3d a lb dearer for most grades. The sale was very satisfactory from the viewpoint of trapper and exporter. First winter bucks sold to 187 d, first winter does to 176 d, second winter bucks to 174 d, second winter does to 167 d, furrier does to 154 d, spotted winter bucks to 148 d, spotted winter does to 142 d, outgoing winter bucks to 133 d, outgoing winter does to 117 d.
