BIG BEN MOVEMENT
LONDON, August 7. The Under-Secretary to the Minister of Information, Mr Ernest Thurtle, indicated in the House of Commons that the Government is interested in the New Zealand Parliamentarians’ decision to listen to the Big Ben chimes. The Ministry of Information, he said, is arranging to give the idea publicity, but whether it is adopted in other countries is a matter for them.
