TE WHARAU
GOLF CLUB PLAY INTERFERED WITH BY WEATHER. (“Times-Age” Special.) Owing to the exceptional heavy ram during the past two weekends there has been no golf played on the links for about three weeks. The weather, however, is more settled now and players may get a game in during the weekend. The draw will be posted in the clubhouse. Golf Dance. The Golf Club’s annual dance will take place on Saturday evening in the local hall, and the proceeds this year are to be donated to the local ladies committee for patriotic purposes. The arrangements are well in hand. The supper, which is again in charge of a capable ladies' committee, is always a feature -of these gatherings. There will be novelty dances and competitions. An enjoyable time is assured those who attend.
