ANOTHER FAILURE
LATEST AIR ATTACK ON MOSCOW FIVE RAIDERS SHOT DOWN. NG IMPORTANT DAMAGE DONE. (Received This Day, 12.15 p.m.) LONDON, August 6. The Moscow radio reported that several groups of German planes attacked Moscow again last night. Only single planes broke through the defences and bombs were dropped an random outside the city. The damage was unimportant. Five of the raiders were shot down.
