Concluding his speech in the House of Commons on Wednesday, the Foreign Secretary (Mr Eden), referring to the recently-signed Russian-Polish agreement, disclosed that a commander-in-chief of the Polish forces in Russia had already been chosen and appointed by the Polish Government, in agreement with the Soviet Government, and had begun his work. Polish officers from Britain had already arrived in Moscow and had begun their work. ‘‘l have been assured by both countries that they are determined to carry out this agreement with energy and speed,” said Mr Eden.
