EXTENSION OF CONSCRIPTION. PROPOSED LEGISLATION IN BRITAIN. (British Ofi’icial Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) RUGBY, August 5. The Lord Privy Seal, Mr C. R. Attlee, stated in the House of Commons that it was hoped to submit to the House, on its reassembly after the recess, proposals for legislation, extending military conscription to Allied nationals whose Governments were established in this country.
