BLOCKADE OF GREECE
REGARDED BY BRITAIN AS ESSENTIAL. ■ IN SPITE OF SUFFERINGS OF PEOPLE. (British Ofi’icial Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) RUGBY, August 5. In Parliament, the Minister of Economic 'Warfare, Mr Hugh Dalton, reaffirmed that while the British Government appreciated the sufferings of the people of Greece, it was unable to relax the blockade on any part of enemy occupied Europe.
