MASTERTON SUB-CENTRE. GENEROUS SUPPORT ACKNOWLEDGED. The Masterton- sub-centre of the Red Cross Society wishes to thank all those people who, by their loyal cooperation. willing service, and generous donations, both in money and goods, made the recent shop day such a splendid success. The Society is for-, tunate indeed in the continual generous support it receives from, all sections of the community and it will be good news for all helpers to hear that in conßection;withlhe shop day on August 1 the sum of £258 3s was raised and the total expenses entailed in raising this sum were £5 14s. As these expenses have been met by two anonymous donations the total amount taken is available for Red Cross work. The thanks of the Sub-Centre are due toMr E. K. Eastwood, B. Com., A.P.A. N.Z., for auditing the accounts."
