OBITUARY

MRS ANNIE FRANCIS BENGE. The death occurred yesterday of Mrs Annie Francis Benge, widow of the late Mr Frederick Benge, of Masterton. The late Mrs Benge, who was 66 years of age, was born in Wellington and came to the Wairarapa about 45 years ago. For some years she resided at Pahiatua, where her father, Mr Pearcey, had a carrying business. About 30 years ago her husband and family moved to Masterton, where Mr Benge was employed by the Masterton Borough Council. She is survived by four sons and two daughters. Her husband predeceased her about four years ago. -•- The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving the chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service Ltd., following a service at 2 p.m., for the Masterton Cemetery.
