The Associated Press of America’s correspondent reports that, as Japanese troops continued to pour into Southern Indc-China, the Press at Hanoi began to exhibit a friendly attitude toward the United States. In presumably inspired articles, the United States Far East policy is described as far-sightedly aware of the Japanese danger and as sympathetic to France.

The Domei Agency’s Saigon correspondent says the Japanese Army and Navy commanders have expressed warm appreciation to the Government and people of French Indo-China for an enthusiastic welcome and many facilities given in the landing of forces.
