RETURN FROM CANADA IN BOMBER.

RUGBY, July 31
The Under-Secretary of State for Air, Mr.- Balfour, landed yesterday at a north country airport, having flown over from Canada in a bomber. Mr. Balfour has been out of the country for just three weeks, during which time a flying tour of certain training schools in Canada has been carried out and also a visit paid to training establishments in the United States. • ' ■
The tour entailed flying approximately 20,000 miles and the area covered ranged from the Rockies to Nova Scotia and southward from Canada to the Gulf of Mexico. During his time in. Canada, Mr. Balfour conferred with members of the Canadian Government and the Royal Canadian Air Force on. matters connected with training in the Dominion. A visit of two days was made to Washington.
