MINIATURE RIFLES COMPETITION SCORES. (“Times-Age” Special.) The following were the highest scores in the Featherston Miniature Rifle Club's last competition:—Mrs Wilson. 96; B. Williams, 95; I. Hare, 91; C. Rasmussen. 91; K. McKenzie, 98; E. O’Neale, 96; M. Hodder, 96; C. Foster. 92; A. Cook, 94; A. Viles, 90. Personal. The funeral of the late Mrs Mary Caroline Hyland took place at Featherston Cemetery; the Rev. J. Hayman conducted the services at the house and graveside. The pall-bear-ers were Messrs W., A., J., S., H., and A. Cherry (grandsons). The late Mrs Hyland leaves a son, 3 daughters, 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Lending Library Service. The Country Lending Library ser- ' vice van in charge of Mr Burnett, called at Featherston yesterday when 4 he books on loan were changed.

Cn Monday, at 7.30 p.m.. in the Sunday School Hall he- will deliver a lecture and show moving pictures of India. Collection in aid of the mission work will be taken up. Church Service. A Church of England service will be held at Ponatahi on Sunday next, at 2 p.m.
