GOLF DRAW FOR SATURDAY. (“Times-Age” Special.) On Saturday, August 2, a competition of nine hidden holes will be played by members of the Greytown Golf Club for Miss Nix’s trophy, in conjunction with the third round of the Keltie Buttons. The draw is as follows: Mrs Nicholson v Miss Harding, Mrs. Thompson v Mrs Jury, Mrs McPhee v Mrs Gold, Miss Nix v Mrs C. Ingley, Mrs Maddison v Miss E. Gregor, Mrs L. Mead v Mrs R. Ingley, Miss J. Feast v Miss P. Tully, Miss R. Collier v Miss B. Gregor, Mrs G. Ingley v Miss M. Wood, Miss M. Collier v Miss Bouzaid, Mrs Gregor v Miss Higginson, Mrs Wiggins v Miss Askew, Miss Quinn v Miss Wiggins. Parcels for Prisoners. The local Red Cross branch is procuring a sample parcel suitable for sending to prisoners of war. It will be placed on view in the depot window during the next few days. Greytown Football Ball. The Greytown Football Club has decided to hold a ball on August 18. Home Nursing Class. Instruction was given by Mrs F. C. Bunny last evening to the home nursing class of the Red Cross Society on temperature reading and the keeping of a temperature chart.
